REGULATIONS OF THE EVENT
Trondhjemsridtet is a FIVA B-category Touring event and is run in accordance with the Standard Rules for Touring Events in the
FIVA Events Code.
The event is a non-competitive touring event. Classification shall not be decided by speed or timing elements.
Eligible motorcycles are those built until and including the 31. December 1945 (FIVA classes B, C or D). The maximum number of participants is 100 riders and passengers. If the event is overbooked the participants
with the oldest motorcycles will be given priority.
The event will probably be unsuitable for very old single speed motorcycles or with belt transmission.
The machines are required to be in original condition or restored to original condition. By enrollment the machines will be evaluated, and before start a technical committee will carry out an inspection.
Machines deemed unfit to participate will be rejected at either stage. Riders that wish to participate with another machine than initially entered must obtain permission prior to the rally.
The event will be run over four days, to Trondheim and back, mainly on period-style picturesque historic roads, some of them with gravel surface. Total distance is approximately 1200 kilometres.
Start will be from 12:00 on 4th June 2016 at “Mortens Kro”, Riksvei 22, Gjelleråsen, NO-1481 Hagan. Participants should arrive at or before 10:00 for inspection of vehicles and documents. Finish will
also be at Mortens Kro, in the late afternoon of 7th June 2016.
The participants will each day be started in groups of up to three in one-minute intervals.
Accommodation will be in good quality hotels at Rena, in Trondheim and Gålå. The starting fee will include all meals, breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and dinner. Drinks,
except tea or coffee, are not included.
Entry fee per person (driver or passenger) is NOK 5.250 net with accommodation in double room, or NOK 6.100 in single room. To cover
transfer costs, NOK 100 should be added when using IBAN wire transfer. Transfer by Western Union or PayPal cannot be accepted.
The signed entry form must be received by
mail before 1st December 2015. It can be downloaded electronically from the organizers home-page www.trondhjemsridtet.com.The organizers will issue a confirmation by e-mail when and if the application
is accepted.
Upon the receipt of the confirmation the applicant should transfer payment to the account of Trondhjemsridtet no later than 15th February
2015. (The account number will be stated in the letter of confirmation).
The participants are not finally accepted before the entry fee has been fully paid. The
official starting list will in due time be published on www.trondhjemsridtet.com.
In the event of cancellation or non-attendance
50% of the entry fee will be refunded if written notice is received within the 1st May 2016 by e-mail. After 1st May no part of Entry Fees will be refunded.
Participants will not be allowed to start with a different motorcycle than the one described in their entry form, unless it has been approved by the organizer in advance. Participants that show up with a MC other that approved by the
organizer will be issued a black starting number and start after the regular participants.
On their entry form, the participants must acknowledge that they have familiar with,
and accept the contents of the Declaration below:
(Note – the participants will also have to sign the same declaration on paper before the start of the rally.
If a participant refuses to sign, the rider and any passengers will be denied participation in the rally. The entry fee will not be refunded).

DECLARATION
- I have been given the opportunity to read the regulations of the event and
agree to be bound by them.
- I declare that I am physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and that I am competent to do so.
- I acknowledge that I understand the nature and the type of the event and the potential risk and agree to accept that risk.
- I declare that to the best of my belief the driver(s) possess(es) the standard of competence necessary for an event of the type to which this entry relates and that the vehicle hereby entered is suitable and roadworthy for
the event and that it is in conformity with the traffic laws and regulations for the use on public roads.
- I declare that the use of the vehicle entered will
be covered by 3rd party insurance as required by Norwegian Law, and an insurance covering the crew.
- I declare that I am in possession of a valid driving
licence. (Not applicable to passengers who are not going to drive the vehicle).
- I acknowledge and understand that the event organizer has no responsibility for damage on or theft of or from participating vehicles”.

The organizer is insured through the Norwegian Historic Car Federation, LMK (FIVA ANF), in “Water
Circles” – Policy no. 100018278.
Throughout the event, crews must observe the Norwegian traffic laws. Serious infringement may lead to disqualification. In the
case of disqualification the organizer reserves the right to refuse the participant(s) access to event gatherings and meals and cancel their hotel reservations – all without any economic compensation.
The road book, maps and other relevant information will be distributed electronically via www.trondhemsridtet.com before the event. The participants must print out these for their
own use.
A service car will follow behind the last participant during the event. A selection of common tools will be available to the disposition of the rider and
limited technical assistance will be offered by the driver and any on-board mechanics. The riders are themselves responsible for the quality of - and method used in connection with - any repairs; and carry the risk if repairs or attempts of such cause damage
to the vehicle or are found to exacerbate the situation.
The organizer will as far possible with their available means salvage and transport the participants vehicles to the final
destination of that event day. (Rena / Trondheim / Gålå / Oslo). From this point the participant themselves must obtain further transport, or get assistance through their insurance company.
The organiser will also provide vehicle for transport of the participants luggage from the start of the event each day and to the hotel on event day 1, 2 and 3 and to the Finish line on day 4.
The Clerk of the Course is charged with the application of the regulations of the event and their provisions during the event.
In
any case not foreseen in these regulations or in case of disagreement about interpretation of these regulations, the Clerk of the Course will have the final word, if necessary in collaboration with the national ANF Observer.
